Blue as tidal pools in morning, when the sun is newly dawning, bluebell skies reflect their light, after dawn has shed the night. Yellow is a lonely daisy, petals that will drive you crazy, smiling-weeping, answer fooling, 'til there are no more for pulling. Red remembers. loving glances, heart's delights and taking chances, warmth of firelight when it snows, where it takes you, no one knows. Green as forests of tallest trees, nesting birds, and hived black bees, leaves of flowers, a sparkling sea, emerald grass, eternity. copyright May 1999 Judith Anne Labriola
